Mode 1: Start From Scratch

This is the step-by-step that we had followed to create the website from scratch. We will also guide you through developing the hero section and the navigation menu:

 Step 1: Create a Webflow Account

To begin the process, log onto the official page of Webflow and sign up for free. You can also sign up for a paid account. But if you are a beginner, the free version is old enough. You can use your Google account to sign up for free on Webflow.

Step 2: Start a New Project

After you have logged in, click on the new site button. Next, you will be asked to choose a template or you can begin from scratch. For this part, we will be focusing on building the website from scratch.

After starting from scratch, you must enter the name of your site. This can be changed later.

Step 3: Planning The Website Layout

Now we move to the most important part of website development which is organizing the website. You should identify what the final layout of the website should look like. Before you start adding pages and sections, try to organize the layout. 

Do some basic research about the contemporaries and the websites that are already ranking higher on the search engine. This will help in identifying the key areas that you need to focus on to make your website outshine the others.

Choose the options that you would want to add to the website. As you keep on selecting the option, it will be added to the layout and later you can edit the same, as per your requirement.

If you don’t want to go into the depths of building the website from scratch, you can use the Webflow pre-designed templates. Simply plug in the details and you will have the website right in front of you.
